I met this lady sharing a auto. She was waiting for some one to drop her and her child home. She was deaf. In the fifteen minutes we spent together she communicated with her hands and her phone. I had no idea where we were going and as the auto turned off the main road , down a track to houses made of what ever available and taurpaulins she signaled to the driver to stop.
I suppose what hit me about this moment is all the memories that are stored in the metal in our devices , like the photo of her in a crown she shared with me .
