Todays challenge was to buy a load of safety boots to take back to some of the workers I met in the E Waste recycling area. My idea is to eventually work out how to electroplate these myself using metal from e waste and also the bioleaching process .
I have a pair of my first shoes electroplated in copper and so i am interested in this process as I feel there is a kind of nostalgia in these items for me, as well as the shoes from the workers telling the full story and hi lighting issues surrounding this world wide problems.
